Me-Mel tote bag

Goat Island, on the left of this artwork, is known as Me-Mel to the Gadigal People. It was once inhabited by Bennelong and Barangaroo. Also referred to as Bennelong's Island, Me-Mel means 'eye' in the Wangal language.
